Video game has become a hot topic these days. It is a popular way which people in a wide range of age choose as one kind of entertainment. However, in my opinion, there are some disadvantages that video games bring to our lives that we really need to notice. We can't deny the fact that there are many people who are addicted to Video Games these days. This reason has led to many other problems. When people are addicted to games, they tend to ignore everything else in their lives. Personally, I have 1 friend who was a video game addict. He spent most of his money buying new games. He also spent most of his time playing games. As a result, he couldn't help his family to do things, and he couldn't have good result at school. Moreover, he didn't spend enough time on sleeping. Consequently, his mind couldn't think well. It seemed like he gave up everything in his life except for video games. Luckily, 1 day, he recognized that video games weren't important for his future and he decided to quit it. He sold everything related to video games to others. It took a long time for him to overcome this addiction.
From this experience, I don't support video games anymore. Although I liked to play video games when I was a child; I don't like it anymore. However, I think if we know how to balance everything in life, everything will be fine.

Happiness

My result from 24 questions said that:" Most people score in this range. Most people are happy, meaning that they are satisfied with most things in their life. Improvement is still possible, though, so consider how you might make good things better, at work, at home, or in your leisure time". Is there anybody has the same result with me?
I think the second face in faces scale is the face which comes closest to expressing how I feel about my life as a whole. Visiting my blog, you may read the two pictures at the end of my blog. They are my ideal opinions about life. I would like to repeat here:" Life is too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can. Apologize when you should. Let go of what you can't change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chances. Give everything. Have no regrets.. Life is too short to be unhappy. Smile when you are sad. Love what you got, and always remember what you had. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it".
I didn't choose the first face because life is not perfect to be always happy. However, everyone just gets one life. Therefore, we should try to live a meaningful life. I have a quote which say that:" Everybody makes mistakes. That's why people put erasers on pencils". It's a funny way of saying, but it shows that we always have chances to solve problems in our lives, correct our mistakes, and overcome our own difficulties. The point is whether we know how to grasp our chances or not. No matter what happens, at least, we should appreciate what we have, what we get. Be happy in life. Enjoy the present time so that we won't feel regret when we get older.

Summary: Agence Considers Ditching Honour System For Turnstiles

Picture: The smart card revolution_One new strategy for fighting ticket fraud
According to Cheryl Cornacchia's article " Agence Considers Ditching Honour System For Turnstiles", published on The Gazette, Montreal, Wednesday, April 9, 2008, The Agence metropolitaine de transport will continue to believe its commuters' honesty and the careful observation of its inspectors who check the ticket cheat. They won't install any new machines or fare gates to control the fraud. However, they will use one kind of new machines which help them to check if the zones of passengers are right. In addition, Daniel Randall, the ATM's vice president of safety and security, said that their agency would consider their system and they might make changes in the next three or four months. They are thinking of putting gates in their most crowded stations to detect the tricks. Moreover, new smart cards may become one of the solutions which help them to reduce the ticket fraud. Meanwhile they don't mention the loss of fare evasion, it is estimated that they lose about $20 million a year.
In my opinion, if there is no motivation, people will keep cheating more and more. Therefore, we really need strict methods to control the tricks. However, the problem is that we haven't decided which method is the best one yet. Nonetheless, in my view, using new turnstiles or gates that could read new smart cards is the better solution to check the fraud than using inspectors. The reason is that using inspectors costs not only money but also employees. The company has to hire more people to do that job; in other words, they have to spend more money on paying their employees. Instead, they should use money to maintain and keep the trains in good condition. In contrast, installing new equipments may cost at the first time, but the company won't need to spend more money on them later. In addition, everyboby will be checked; as a result, the fraud will be controlled more effectively. In summary, I agree with controlling the ticket fraud; however, I am thinking of using new methods may cause raising the fares. If the fare is too expensive, it may cause financial problems for students or low-income public transit users. How about your opinion?
